About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Victoria Taps – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a good time in London. From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the staff are an absolute delight; they're quick with a smile and make sure your glass is never empty, whether you're there for a casual pint or diving into their bottomless brunch deals. The food really stands out too – think hearty fish and chips or those rum cocktails that pair brilliantly with the summer vibes they've got going on. It's a fantastic place for watching the footy or rugby, with all sorts of events that keep the energy up without it feeling overwhelming. On the flip side, being in such a central area, it does tend to get packed, so you might find yourself queuing or sharing space on busier days, and the opening times can vary a bit, which might throw off your plans if you're not checking ahead. All in all, it's a solid choice for a memorable outing, with the pros far outweighing any minor niggles, making it well worth a visit if you're after that perfect blend of good craic and great service.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – always welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
The food and drinks are spot on; think tasty fish and chips, fantastic cocktails, and a cracking bottomless brunch that's perfect for a fun day out.
-
It's got a great atmosphere for watching live sport or catching up with mates, with plenty of events and offers to keep things lively.
-
Even in a central London spot, it's managed well to avoid any noise issues, so you can relax without the worry of it getting too rowdy.
Cons
-
It can get quite busy in this Pimlico location, especially during peak times or events, which might mean a wait for a table or a seat at the bar.
-
The operating hours seem a bit variable based on what's listed, so it's worth double-checking to avoid any disappointment if you're planning a visit.

First of all, when I looked out our hotel window and saw a pub across the street, despite it being a beautiful building I was a bit concerned about the possible night noise. It never happened and I thank the management and all the patrons for being respectful of the neighbourhood.
Looking for a Sunday Roast, which sadly they did not have (....but they recommended another great pub which did for our next Sunday dinner) we stayed anyway. Glad we did !!!
A very popular and busy establishment we were seated and served fairly quickly. Looking next to us we were quite pleased to see that the pub is DOG FRIENDLY!!!!! That sealed the deal!!!!
Beer and the assortment platter was very generous and filling as was the delicious nacho platter we had latter in the week. One of the nicest pubs we were in during our nine days in London and
a great memory. Thanks to all at VICTORIA TAPS !!!!
I came to The Victoria Taps with family for the bottomless brunch. Jasmine served and she was absolutely fabulous. She was really attentive and made sure we got our drinks refills as soon as possible around our food. A great sense of humour and made our time here great. Thanks for the great service Jasmine!! 5 stars for you!!
Great place for a pint! Service and staff were lovely, especially Daisy, who made us feel very welcome! Fish and chips were great!
Opened the entrance door a female member of staff was heading through another door but turned around and gave the most welcoming smile,. I headed to the bar and another female staff member gave me the most beautiful smile and a welcoming good morning, and to be honest, I could have walked out and been happy all day, but of course I stayed for breakfast and a pot of tea. Breakfast was nice I have had better but have also had worse. But it truly was the two staff members that warmed my heart.
Melanie looked after us very well. We had the Christmas bottomless brunch and the cocktails were fantastic and the food was great. They always look out for you and make your experience top class. Well worth a visit
