Brass Monkey in Westminster

Ah, the Brass Monkey – it's one of those unassuming little pubs that you stumble upon near Victoria station and end up loving. I have to say, the atmosphere is spot on; it's cosy and vibrant without being overwhelming, whether you're nipping in for a quick drink or settling down for some food with friends. The staff are an absolute delight, always up for a friendly chat, and they've got a cracking selection of drinks to choose from, including real ales and now some surprisingly good Korean options that give it a fresh edge. It's brilliantly located for pre-theatre dinners or just grabbing a pint after a long day, and the prices are fair, making it easy on the wallet. On the flip side, it's a shame it's closed on Sundays and doesn't open until later in the day sometimes, so you'll need to plan around that if you're keen to visit. All in all, it's a great little spot for a relaxed evening, but it might not be the place for a rowdy night out – still, I'd recommend giving it a go for that homely pub feel.
