About This Pub
Ah, The Victoria Romford – it's one of those local gems that just draws you in with its warm, welcoming vibe. From what I've gathered from the reviews and the buzz around it, the staff really go out of their way to make everyone feel at ease, which is always a winner when you're popping in for a quick drink or a longer evening. The atmosphere is spot on, with plenty of positive energy from the regulars and events like karaoke and live sports on the screens – it's brilliant for getting into the spirit of things, especially if you're a fan of football or rugby. And let's not forget that extended garden; it's a proper little haven for sunnier days, complete with TVs for those must-watch games. They've got some cracking drink deals too, so you can sip on a cold one without worrying about the cost. On the flip side, it's a smaller spot, so it can feel a tad overwhelming when it's packed, and the noise might not suit everyone looking for a quiet night. Plus, there were some hiccups with management in the past that left a sour taste for a few, but it sounds like they've turned things around nicely. Overall, if you're after a genuine community feel with good craic and affordable drinks, it's well worth a visit – just keep in mind it might not be the place for a fancy dinner. I'd say give it a go and see for yourself; it's got that heartwarming local charm that's hard to beat.

Lovely little local pub. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Lovely little garden too.
A small pub, but with alot of noise and positive energy, really friendly locals and staff were amazing, never tried any food so can't comment
Brilliant pub, always have lots of entertainment going, the landlady Lou is lovely 😀
Small and cozy. Always a good karaoke night. Pool table available. Garden at the back just extended with TV screens. Great atmosphere.
Used to drink in this pub many years ago. Unfortunately as the pub kept changing hands, one particular landlady ruined it and it closed for a while. Still get someone who takes advantage of good natured helpful people but it's well noted and makes them highly unpopular!!
Popped down for a drink the other night happy to see some of the familiar faces from the past and a nice friendly atmosphere.
