About This Pub

Ah, The Victoria, what a lovely spot in Walsall for a relaxed pint or a catch-up with mates. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this charming traditional feel with snug rooms that make you feel snug as a bug, and the real ales are spot on – plenty of choice and at prices that won't leave you short. The staff are absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Plus, they've got regular music events and live sports on the telly, so if you're up for a bit of entertainment with your drink, it's ideal. The Sunday lunches get high praise too, sounding like a proper treat. On the flip side, it can get a tad loud inside during busier times or events, which might spoil a quiet conversation, and being an old-school pub, it doesn't have much in the way of fancy extras – no website to check out menus or events in advance, for instance. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for anyone after a genuine, no-fuss pub experience with great value and a friendly crowd; I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

On my last visit to this area, I missed this gem of an ale pub. I'm glad I did not this time. Two snug rooms and there was entertainment in one of them. Good prices in ale along with good choice and good service.

A traditional ale house with a good selection of real ales and spirits. Decent sized outside space for a pub in the town. A friendly welcome and live sports being televised.

Old fashioned pub nothing to write home about , just good beers and on that day a northern soul dj , so the music was good had to sit outside in the beer garden as just to load to have a conversation with our friends. Anyway overall not a bad pub for a decent real ale pint .
