About This Pub
Ah, The Ticket Office – what a gem tucked away in the metro station! From what I've gathered from folks' chats about it, it's got this inviting, homely feel that just draws you in, with staff who go out of their way to make you feel at ease, like you're part of the gang. The beers are spot on too, with a solid range of draught options and some interesting cans that keep things fresh and exciting. I love how they've set up the seating with a cosy snug and even live music to liven up the evenings – it's just the ticket for a laid-back get-together. On the flip side, though, it's a shame they don't have any cask ales, which might not sit well with those who fancy a more traditional pint. And with doors not opening until the afternoon, it's not the spot for a morning brew. Plus, being on the smaller side, it could get a bit snug on busier nights, and without an online presence, sorting out the details might take a bit of extra effort. All in all, it's a solid choice for a casual stop-off, especially if you're passing through, but worth keeping those little niggles in mind for the full picture.

Friendly and cosy pub on the platform with a few goof draught beers on tap and some interesting cans in the fridge. Nice seating area on the platform and nice little snug in the back. Fab.
Absolutely fantastic little bar. Great place to hang out. Lovely staff, always welcoming and friendly and a superb place to listen to some live music
I really enjoyed having a pint here while waiting for the metro service and counter is stylish, lighting is pretty and the decorations across the wall add to atmosphere!
Tiny pub on the concourse at Whitley Bay station. Decent craft beers plus some macro lagers. Has a music/train theme. Service is friendly. No cask.
After a wee mooch around Whitley bay I was heading back for metro when I discovered the little gem in the station.
From walking through the door Mandy was so friendly & welcoming which straight off helped me instantly like & feel relaxed for a most excellent final beer.
Now once the revamp work of Whitley bay metro station is complete it will be the perfect place when you get of the metro to plonk yourself down for some well earned refreshments.
Will I make a return visit... most definitely and maybe quite soon
