About This Pub
Ah, The Tap House in Lancaster – it's one of those places that just draws you in with its charming, rustic feel and that eclectic decor that makes every visit feel a bit special. I've heard from mates that the drink selection is top-notch, with a fantastic cocktail menu and a great range of beers that keep things interesting. The live music adds a real buzz, turning it into a proper spot for a good laugh and some tunes on a Saturday afternoon. Prices are fair too, so you won't feel like you're being ripped off while enjoying a pint. On the flip side, though, there have been a few grumbles about the odd drink not being up to scratch – like that story about the Chardonnay being well past its best, which soured the experience for some. And let's be honest, the service isn't always spot on; a couple of folks mentioned feeling a bit put out by abrupt staff when things went wrong. It can get heaving at times, making it tricky to nab a spot or get served quickly in such a compact space. All in all, it's worth a visit if you're after a lively pub crawl in Lancaster, but maybe go in with your eyes open and have a backup plan for if it's not your day.

Don't order the Chardonnay! Mine was off/awful/been open too long. Politely asked them to change it and the surly waitress refused so I just left it on the bar. Felt a little threatened when an abrupt barman then approached me at our table to say that 'he wasn't happy' as most people usually 'rave' about the wine(?).
Despite some of the staff the place was busy and buzzing with great live music on the Saturday evening we visited.
Nice place but could work on their customer service skills.
Great rustic bar with very quirky decor. Great selection of drinks also fantastic cocktail menu.
Food was supplied from a street vendor and was superb.
All round great place!
Lovely micro pub first time been great choice of beers staff brilliant it also great for live music give it a go
Always a busy pub on a Saturday afternoon and was the same last time we went. Live band were good and passing through the tambourine welcome party was a sight to see. Although a small bar, was patient enough to get served. Friendly staff and people always to be found whenever I come here
Great little bar and extremely reasonable prices. Great live music and friendly staff
