About This Pub

Ah, The Swan in Amblecote – what a gem of a pub it is! From what I've gathered from the reviews and their website, it's got that classic Black Country warmth with a recently refreshed look that makes you feel instantly at ease. The real highlight is their superb range of real ales; folks rave about the well-kept cask options and even some discounts that make it a treat for beer enthusiasts. Pair that with hearty food like pub platters and specials that offer great bang for your buck, and you've got a spot that's perfect for a casual catch-up or enjoying one of their lively events, like live acoustic sessions or quiz nights – oh, and don't forget the happy hours for a cheeky deal on drinks. It's dog-friendly too, which is always a plus if you're popping in with your furry companion. On the downside, it does attract a crowd, so you might find yourself queuing up at the bar more often than you'd like, and it could do with a few more hands on deck during busy spells to keep things flowing. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out, with plenty of positives that outweigh the minor niggles, as long as you're up for a bit of a wait now and then.

Great pub, id give it 4.5 if i could my only problem is its a victim of its own success as its usually really busy and could do with more people behind the bar at times. However its still a great place.

Another pub on the triangle with a a great selection of well kept cask ales - there’s even 20% cask discount this lunchtime! The bar snacks look something else and seem to be very popular.
