About This Pub
Ah, The Stonemasons Arms, what a lovely spot it is – I've got to say, it's one of those places that just hits the mark for a good night out with friends. From what I've seen, the food is genuinely brilliant; whether it's their pizzas or those small plates, they're dishing up proper tasty options at prices that won't break the bank, like that £16 pizza and pint deal that's a steal. The staff are the real stars here, always on hand with a smile and that personal touch that makes you feel welcome, which is just what you want after a busy week. The atmosphere is spot on too, with a lively buzz and nice decor that makes it feel cosy without being overwhelming, and they've got live music lined up sometimes for an extra bit of fun. On the flip side, though, the opening times are a bit of a downer if you're an early riser or fancy a midday drink, as things don't kick off until the afternoon on most days. Plus, if you're planning a larger gathering, the booking process might take a bit more effort, and the kitchen closing early could leave you high and dry for a late supper. All in all, it's a solid choice for pub goers looking for a reliable, enjoyable experience – I'd pop in if you're in the area, but maybe check those hours first to avoid any disappointment.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely spot on – think delicious pizzas and tasty starters that leave you wanting more, with great value deals like pizza and a pint for just £16.
-
The staff are an absolute delight; they're friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home, with shout-outs to folks like Nick, Asta, and Sylvia who really go the extra mile.
-
It's got a cracking atmosphere – lively vibes, a nicely decorated space, and even live music on occasion, making it a proper gem for a relaxed evening out.
-
Everything's kept spot on, from the super clean toilets to the efficient service, which adds to that overall welcoming feel.
-
They've got a solid selection of drinks, including keg beers, ciders, and cask ales, perfect for enjoying with mates after a long day.
Cons
-
The opening hours can be a bit restrictive, starting as late as 3pm on weekdays, so it's not ideal if you're after a spot for lunch or an early pint.
-
For bigger groups of nine or more, you'll have to sort things out via email or phone rather than booking online, which might feel a tad hassle.
-
The kitchen shuts fairly early, around 10pm most nights, so if you're planning a late-night bite, you might miss out.
-
While the reviews are glowing, it seems like it could get busy, and without more details, it might not always be the easiest place to nab a table spontaneously.

We absolutely love this local Gem! We have been twice and enjoyed the food, great vibes, charged atmosphere, and the service was exceptional! Shout out to Nick and Asta for your kindness and welcoming service, you both Rock!
Really nice. Great service. Delicious pizza.
Great special offer. It was pizza and pint for £16 I was drinking wine & could have that instead.
The bar staff were really nice
Top pub! We visited on Friday evening, had 2 alcoholic drinks each, 2 starter/small plates and 2 pizzas - less than £80. Excellent food, friendly staff, lovely decorated pub and toilets super clean which is a wonderful sign! Would recommend and visit again
Had a fantastic experience at the Stonemasons Arms
Sylvia was absolutely wonderful and made our visit truly delightful. Her attentiveness and warm personality elevated the entire evening – she’s undoubtedly an asset to the team.
The food was exceptional – the CUCUMBER & TAHINI was absolutely mind-blowing, and the sourdough pizzas were perfection. Fresh, flavourful, and cooked to perfection.
A gem of a place with incredible service and outstanding food.
Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit.

The Stonemasons Arms in Hammersmith does everything it says on the box. A fine selection of keg beers and ciders accompanied by a couple of cask ales for those that do (only one on during my visit). Very pleasant service, fast, alert and efficient. An open galley kitchen squeezed in behind the bar, quite ingenious. Menu is centered around a varied pizza selection. All looks geed. Outside seating is also available. A happy place.
