Beautiful traditional pub, not far from Hammersmith roundabout. Great decor the staff were lovely and the food was excellent. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 some outdoor seating which is lovely to have when the weather is nice.👍🏾
Turned up with no booking before theatre and relatively quiet to start...as we got closer to 7 it got busier...so would recommend reserving tables at that time. Ordered bavette steak which was delicious. Hubby had chicken sandwich and loved it! Staff are very friendly...nice environment overall
This enjoyable pub is located on Overstone Road, near Hammersmith, just a few minutes from the Underground Station, making it very convenient to find. The pub has a relaxed and comfortable vibe, with plenty of seating available, including outdoor options.
The staff are very nice and are happy to customize drinks based on your personal preferences.
Their lunch menu is quite good, especially the red wine braised short rib risotto, which was rich and flavorful. The hand-cut chips were also delicious and complemented the meal perfectly.
This is a great place for gatherings and meals with friends!
I visited the pub for a Sunday roast. It’s quite busy so I’d recommend reserving in advance.
The service in the pub is amazing, a good mix between being able to order at the bar and table service.
Roast was nice but wouldn’t go out of my way to eat it again. The apple crumble was oaky but served in a small bowl which made it harder to eat.
The chips were so good; however, the cheese burger was on the very average side. I should have ordered a Sunday roast. It looked delicious.
The pub was completely full by 2 pm.
So either go a bit earlier or make a booking especially on a Sunday.
