About This Pub

Ah, The Station Sports Bar – it's one of those places that just sounds like a proper gem in High Wycombe, doesn't it? From the reviews I've had a look at, folks have raved about the staff, who are dead helpful and make the whole experience feel warm and inviting, like chatting with old mates. You've got all these brilliant games to dive into, from ping pong and pool to a free pinball machine and even beer pong, which really keeps the energy up for a great night. The drinks are spot on too – reasonably priced with a solid selection of lagers – and the live music scene is a highlight, mixing up genres like rock, pop, ska, punk, and metal, so there's something for everyone. On the downside, though, the reviews haven't been updated in a while, so it might not be as buzzing these days, and without a website, it's a bit of a faff to check what's on. Still, if you're after a place with a fun atmosphere and good value, I'd say give it a go – just keep an eye on those opening times to avoid any surprises!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant – always polite and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in
  • Loads of fun games on offer, like ping pong, pool, and a free pinball machine, which keep things entertaining all evening
  • Drinks are reasonably priced and offer great value for money, with a nice selection of lagers to choose from
  • It's a fantastic spot for live music, covering all sorts of genres from rock and pop to ska, punk, and metal
  • The facilities have had a proper revamp, with clean and fresh toilets that no longer hold you back from enjoying the night
Cons
  • The reviews seem a bit outdated, with the most recent ones from over a year ago, so it might not be as lively as it once was
  • There's no website or online presence listed, which makes it tricky to get the latest updates on events or hours
  • The operating schedule looks a tad confusing with varying times, and it's closed one day a week, which could catch you out
