About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about Historia Meze Grill – it's this cosy spot in High Wycombe that's become a bit of a favourite for anyone craving proper Turkish and Mediterranean grub. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is spot on; think succulent lamb shish and aromatic dishes that burst with flavour, all made with fresh ingredients that make every bite worthwhile. The team there are absolute gems, always on hand with a smile and quick to sort you out, whether it's recommending a dish or handling a special event like a birthday. It's got that charming decor that gives the place a nice, homely feel, and the prices for the mains won't break the bank, which is always a plus when you're out for a good meal. On the flip side, though, the soft drinks do come in a bit steep, so you might want to keep an eye on that if you're not up for splashing out extra. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening out – the high ratings speak for themselves, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy something a bit different from the usual pub fare.

Can’t fault this place! Historia serves some of the best Turkish food you’ll find this side of the Bosporus. I was recommended the Ali Nazik lamb shish and it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable and the decor is charming, if not a little kitsch. Will definitely be coming back!
Absolutely fantastic food. The service was so welcoming. Such a lovely family run restaurant ❤️❤️... I left my phone on charge but I had it sent to me very promptly to South Wales.. wonderful people 🥰 Restored my faith in humanity.. thank you again! I will return xxxxx
The food was amazing and the virgin pina colada was my favourite! The staff were amazing, especially the owner Sibel, she made sure I had a great dining experience and the food came quickly! 10/10 will come again.
Amazing and aromatic food, beautifully flavoured! The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. The staff are attentive and efficient, and the food comes out very well presented.
It was my birthday and our waiter suggested for me to try the ‘Katmer’ (pictured) and it was such a tasty dessert, I would eat it again (and again and again!)
I would recommend Historia to anyone! 5/5 stars for me.
Very good service and the food was really nice. I have to admit the prices for soft drinks are on the higher side. Would be good if the management offered more competitive pricing for drinks besides that I really can't fault it.
Meat was cooked lovely, warm. Very fresh and succulent. Loved the complimentary bread. I'd defo come again!
