About This Pub
Ah, The Squirrel Inn – it's one of those pubs that just warms your heart the moment you hear about it from the reviews. Folks absolutely rave about its quaint, historical feel, with that quirky layout and charming old building that transports you straight to the Cotswolds or a classic British hideaway. The beer selection is a real highlight, boasting a good range of cask ales and even some awards under its belt, all at prices that won't leave you out of pocket. Service gets top marks too, with friendly faces behind the bar making every visit feel welcoming and relaxed, and don't forget the outdoor garden for those nicer days when you fancy a bit of fresh air with your pint. On the flip side, it's not without its quirks – you might need to watch your step around those low ceilings, as a few have mentioned bumping their heads, and the opening times can vary, so it's smart to check ahead and avoid any disappointment if you're planning a quick stop. All in all, it's a proper gem for anyone after an authentic pub experience in Rugby, with its high rating showing just how much it's loved, but keeping those little niggles in mind will make for the best trip.

A really quaint historical pub. Good range of beers and a number of Cambra awards over the years. It's definitely a place to visit, but mind your head by the bar....
Went here on a Monday to meet with a friend.
Love the quirky layout and charm of this old building. It reminded me very much of pubs in the Cotswolds.
We didn't eat anything but the prices of the drinks were great and the service was brilliant. Really nice guy behind the bar.
Loved the fire that was going too.
What a classic old school pub where very little has changed decor wise over the years making this a must visit venue. Choice of 3 (obscure to me) cask ales on today. Cold snacks and hot drinks available Check opening times - they tend to vary during the day to avoid disappointment.
Didn't get inside because we came here too early. It was closed. After Rugby Half marathon run we popped in to three other pubs. Next time maybe we'll stay a little longer here to have a pint in the oldest pub in Rugby. From outside The Squirrel Inn looks really good.
I visited the Squirrel Inn on May 7th, 2023, as there was a music festival for local bands & singers.
The pub was very popular, but I still managed to buy a pint of real ale & sausage roll.
The weather was fine and customers also enjoyed the garden
