About This Pub
Oh, The Spring Inn is one of those pubs that just feels like a breath of fresh air – it's got that perfect mix of a cosy, characterful setting with a modern edge, where you can settle in for a chat over a pint or tuck into some seriously tasty grub. From what I've gathered from folks who've been, the service is top-notch; the staff are genuinely warm and attentive, explaining the menu and making sure everything's just right, which really adds to the homely feel. The food doesn't disappoint either – think hearty pub favourites and those legendary Sunday roasts that everyone raves about, paired with a cracking selection of drinks in a lovely beer garden. It's brilliant for families or if you're bringing the dog along, but do keep in mind it can get a bit heaving at peak times, and the location out in Rochdale might not suit if you're after something more central. All in all, it's a gem for a laid-back afternoon or evening, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy a spot that's got heart without being too stuffy.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly, attentive, and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, just like chatting with old mates.
-
The food is spot on, with pub classics and seasonal specials that hit the spot, especially those unbeatable Sunday roasts with bottomless gravy and Yorkshire puds.
-
It's a proper family and dog-friendly spot, perfect for popping in with the little ones or your four-legged friend for a relaxed pint in the beer garden.
-
A great selection of drinks on offer, from quality cask ales and lagers to gins and wines, making it ideal for catching up with friends over a few.
-
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, blending a modern twist on a traditional pub with fun events and a cosy vibe that makes you want to linger.
Cons
-
It can get pretty busy, particularly on Sundays for those roasts, so you'll want to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
-
Being out in Burnedge, Rochdale, it might not be the most convenient for everyone, especially if you're coming from further afield.
-
With a moderate price tag, it could feel a bit steep for a casual midweek visit, though the quality makes it worth it for special occasions.

Hev looked after us today in the restaurant and was absolutely superb. Th3 nost delightful Scottish waitress; Nothing was too much trouble, menu items were fully explained and the service was impeccable. Will absolutely be back.
Visited the Spring Inn for lunch on the 23 April. I hadn't been to the Inn for some years and was hopeful that it was as good as I remembered. If anything it was even better than I recalled. Not only was the menu excellent and our meals delicious the staff were so helpful and attentive. Our small party of three will certainly be returning, with other family members, in the near future.

A special thanks to the kitchen team as well – the food was simply outstanding! Each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. It's clear they take pride in what they serve. And the drinks? A fantastic selection, expertly poured (extra points for the perfect pint!).

I can’t recommend The Spring Inn highly enough. The food was absolutely amazing – every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about quality. The drink selection was equally impressive, with a great variety of options to suit any taste – from local craft beers to expertly mixed cocktails.
