About This Pub
Ah, The Bridge Inn – what a cracking little spot it is, isn't it? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, whether you're a regular or just passing through. I love how it's kept that authentic, old-school pub feel, like a proper local hideaway where you can enjoy a cheap pint of Sam Smith's and have a laugh over a game of pool or darts. It's got this warm, community vibe that's just spot on for a relaxed evening. On the flip side, though, it's not without its downsides – the steps to get in might put some folks off, especially if you're with kids or have any mobility issues, and the location near those busy roads can make it a bit of a faff to access. Plus, with no clear opening times listed, you might turn up and find it shut, which would be a shame. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're after a no-nonsense pub experience with great value and a welcoming crowd, but it's worth checking ahead to avoid any hitches. I'd say give it a go if you're in the area – you might just discover your new favourite local!

Cons
-

-
The location near busy roads could make it hard to reach on foot, as one visitor mentioned the traffic lights being a hassle.
-
There's no clear info on opening hours, and it seems like it might not always be open, which could lead to disappointment if you pop by unexpectedly.
-
It's quite basic and traditional, so if you're after something more modern or fancy, it might not quite hit the spot.

Brilliant service and staff
Hidden gem , friendly staff & locals , nice pint of Sam Smiths , basic old school local - like a little time capsule , thanks ! see you again soon.
Fell over this place in the summer. As a pedestrian, the traffic light system between Kingsway, oldham road and Queens way is a ball end. It's nice outside in the sun. I were with my daughter, so no choice but to sit outside tbh as its steps to get in. It's a Sam's smith. Friendly folks inside and nice guy behind the bar
Always a great night. Well priced. Staff are polite and friendly
