A great British pub with an extensive and appealing menu.. great service, atmosphere, decor and cosy log burner corner. We had a family lunch and it was some of the best food we've had in ages! Spoilt for choice on what you actually order.. ended up choosing the homemade shepherd's pie, fresh vegetables... it didn't disappoint! We will definitely be back... 👍 Sunday lunch looks good.. maybe that'll be our next visit. Outside seating and car park too !! 🥰

Popped in with family on a Sunday tea time for drinks. Unfortunately not impressed, not very busy but still managed to be noisy. Worst pint I've had in weeks (left most of it). Bar staff seem to be permanently untrained, given a pint shandy when ordered a half. Sorry to say not improved since my last review.

Had a lovely meal since the take over. The Tapas were delicious and enjoyed the Red wine Merlot as part of the meal deal to. The waitress were very welcoming on arrival, which is always nice to have... Smiling and greeting us positively..Felt really welcomed. We got seated to the table promptly and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you

Trad pub with a tasteful upgrade. Good sized restaurant section with space to eat throughout the bar. Cliff and Les are a well experienced and team and they've nailed the menu for the setting. Hot beef stottie if you are a visitor to the region. Everything else looked great too. Decent beer.

Sunday lunch is amazing , very welcoming staff including chef , the beef melted in my mouth and veg was cooked to perfection, even entertained the kids
