About This Pub
Ah, The Selly Park Tavern – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a laid-back evening or a family get-together in Birmingham. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel at home; folks have raved about how efficient and cheerful they are, like Trinity and Lauren who seem to make every visit memorable. The food's another winner – think hearty pub grub, delicious steaks, and even options for veggies and vegans, all at prices that won't break the bank. It's got that classic cosy atmosphere that's ideal for a mid-week catch-up or a proper Sunday roast with the lot. Plus, being family and dog-friendly means it's accessible for all sorts, and everything's kept nice and tidy, which is always a plus. On the flip side, it's right on a bustling road, so you might hear the odd car whizzing by, and that parking situation can be a bit of a trap if you're not careful – don't forget to sort out your registration, or it'll put a dampener on things. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a welcoming pint and a good chat, with just a few things to keep in mind for a smoother experience.

There was a great atmosphere at The Selly Park Tavern. The staff were warm and welcoming. Trinity and her colleague at the bar were so friendly, and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place!
A great pub, dog and family friendly. We've been a few times for family catch-ups and it's always been a great atmosphere, spotless loos and very reasonably priced. Always impressed with the staff here, but last time Lauren went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. It's servers like her that keep customers coming back to a place.
The Selly Park Tavern is located on a busy main road. It has ample parking to the rear but remember to enter your registration at the machine at the bar otherwise you will receive a hefty fine 😬. We where a large group and had booked in advance however as a group we managed to turn up almost an hour early! We where welcomed seated and served without delay. The food was served hot, without much waiting the service was excellent and everyone left happy and refreshed.
Best cozy place in Birmingham, the best steak ever, great value, super amazing people. Feels like home and I can tell it’s really loved by the community. All the food is amazing, I would definitely recommend this place. And I’m definitely coming back, this place is a treasure.
I have been going to the Tavern since arriving in Birmingham and have enjoyed it everytime. The staff is always very helpful and the place has a great ambience and atmosphere. They are also pet friendly so you might get lucky and see a dog one day! Food is very good and would highly recommend. Cocktails are also amazing and are less expensive if you buy two.
