About This Pub
Ah, The Highbury Inn – it's one of those classic Birmingham pubs that really captures the heart of community life, you know? From the moment you step in, there's this cosy, family-friendly buzz that makes it ideal for a relaxed catch-up with friends or a casual family do. The drinks are a highlight; they've got an excellent selection of beers, including real ales, and plenty of options for those watching their intake, which I always appreciate. Plus, the beer garden is an absolute treat – dog-friendly and with free WiFi, it's perfect for a sunny afternoon or even when the weather's playing up. The staff are genuinely lovely, always up for a natter, and the events like quizzes or live music add a fun twist to your visit. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect; some folks have noted things like sticky floors or grubby glasses, which can dampen the experience a bit. And while the bar snacks are alright, the menu doesn't offer much variety if you're after something more substantial. Overall, if you're after an affordable, down-to-earth pub with a strong community feel, The Highbury's worth popping into – just keep expectations realistic for a traditional spot like this.

Met up with family and friends. Excellent evening . Nice selection of beers.
We do the Monthly quiz here ran by Rob and Andy and love it every time. Good questions and atmosphere of other teams. Love it 👍🏻
This is a very stereotypical British pub . Old Red nose men sat in the corner that haven't seen a bar of soap in a while. Mutton dressed as lamb cruising the bar for a free drink. Dirty glasses, and sticky floors, and garden benches that look like a strong breeze will take them out . But the sun demanded a beer garden so the Highbury it had to be.
I find this a cracking old skool style pub, staff are really friendly beers are always good, cold bottles etc. Good Jukebox and a pool table which is quite popular, landlords Debs and Simon are friendly and approachable but no nonsense people...
Really nice quiet pub. Limited menu but food is nice and cooked perfectly.
We were served by Anne who is a lovely friendly lady. Nice old traditional decor and very clean too.
I'd not been down for about 8 years so was surprised the little horse had gone but the beer garden is really nicely done now.
Gutted it's unavailable for my sisters funeral as it was her local and can be seen from her house.. Its also the last place we danced together in!!
Definitely will be returning.. Thanks Anne for being very nice and attentive!!
