The Royal Oak in Rowley Regis

Nice pub with nice food. They do a top mixed grill👌🏻

Just myself today, along with two small dogs but not a problem. Amie, Holly and Steph were most helpful. Obviously I needed to order at the bar so the dogs came in. Served quickly and went to sit out front, Steph came out to collect empty plates, saw the dogs and provided a bowl of fresh water for them. Lovely place, dogs got plenty of fuss.

Really lovely pub! Nice to sit outside in the sun and quick service. It does get busy there but shows how popular it is! Was served by Rhi and couldnt fault a thing! Was so smiley and friendly. I think the chef on was Oli? Food he served was amazing. Good portions and food looks great.

Food very average.Steak came with quarter of a mushroom, half tomatoe.Very small portion chips Though steak cooked well. Fish cooked well .Potatoes tasted re heated. Came with shrimps not king prawns as menu stated. Good for daytime coffee after a walk.Pleasant outdoor patio.

First time visit today to The Royal Oak, having passed many times before but not stopped off to check it out and give a review before. The staff member who served me at the bar was polite, happy and friendly - giving a warm welcome from the start. Everyone else working here give off the same impression too. Music at a comfortable level, temperature and light all just right for a great relaxed visit. Outside at front and back, there is tonnes of space to sit. With sheltered spots for that British weather. Only one small note for improvement, but doesn't impact my visit at all. Could do with getting one of the Gents toilet door locks repaired and the soap dispenser. There was soap there in a bottle on the side though. Very glad popped in here this afternoon just for a drink this time, will definitely return again and try some of the food too as looked delicious! Thanks for the nice experience.
