About This Pub
You know, when I think about the Clock Inn, it's got that real heartwarming feel of a classic British pub that takes you back to simpler times – imagine popping in for a pint and chatting with the locals, just like Tony and Stephen did, raving about the great beers and welcoming atmosphere. The landlady and staff seem to go out of their way to make everyone feel included, which is just lovely for a relaxed evening. But, and I have to be straight with you, it's not all smooth sailing; Debbie's experience shows there can be frustrations with special deals vanishing quickly or orders getting muddled, and that inconsistent pricing might leave you scratching your head. Still, if you're after an authentic spot for a good chat and a decent drink without the fancy frills, I'd say it's worth checking out – just keep your expectations in check and maybe stick to the drinks side of things for the best experience.
Pros and Cons

-
They've got a cracking selection of beers that really hit the spot, perfect for a nostalgic pint.
-
The staff, especially the landlady, are spot on with their warm greetings and genuine local charm.
Cons
-
Special offers can be a bit unreliable, like running out early or not being available when promised.
-
There might be mix-ups with orders, such as getting the wrong meal or pudding, which can put a dampener on things.
-
Pricing isn't always consistent, with drinks or meals sometimes costing more than expected on different rounds.

Ermmmm, not my kind of place, won't be going back.
Great Pub, friendly atmosphere and great beers, took me back 40 years. Thank you. Tony
Got thrown off the train last night at Rowley Regis station (not my fault). Didn't have a clue where I was. Got google maps out on my phone and started walking towards BlackHeath. Walking? Thirsty work! Came across the Clock Inn and thought why not! Popped in had a pint. What a brilliant pub with both the staff and the "regulars" all being really friendly. Wish I lived a lot closer.
Went for the o2 special offer, 2 free drinks. Serving between 5-8. Arrived at 5.20 no drinks left on special offer.
Ordered 2 main meals, only 1 meal available.
Ordered 2 puddings 1 pudding was incorrect.
Ordered 2 rounds of drinks same drinks both times, charged 2 different prices.
If you want an evening with real genuine Blackcountry folk. A well stocked bar and fantastic welcome, the staff and regulars are second to none. The Landlady Anna always gives a warm welcome and makes everyone feel at home regulars and new customers alike. True old style pubs like this are very hard to find now. A wonderful evening is guaranteed
