About This Pub

Ah, The Roundhouse – it's such a hidden gem in Nottingham's castle area, isn't it? From what I've gathered from the buzz around, the staff are just lovely, always up for a chat and making you feel right at home, which really sets the tone for a great evening. The food stands out too; it's all freshly made with top-notch, locally sourced ingredients, and the portions are generous without breaking the bank – I mean, who doesn't love a hearty meal that leaves you satisfied? The drinks menu is spot on as well, with a cracking selection of cocktails and more, perfect for unwinding after a long day. That mature, comfortable atmosphere with its cosy booths makes it ideal for a proper natter, and the outdoor terrace is a real treat on a sunny day, especially if you've got a dog in tow. On the downside, it might not be the place if you're craving a buzzing, lively scene, as it's generally a bit more subdued, and the prices, while fair, could add up if you're popping in regularly. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed get-together, and I'd say it's worth a visit for anyone looking for that authentic pub experience in the heart of Nottingham.

Such a fantastic bar. This is pretty much my regular place. The staff are really friendly, the drinks are great and the food is filling and a good price. The best part, it is typically quieter than other places and has a more mature atmosphere. The booths are so comfortable and just by far my favourite place to visit and I can always count on it.

Brought my work colleagues here for our Christmas meal and we were left very impressed. The drink selection was fab - cocktails were gorgeous too! The value for money of the meal was great and the portions were a great size. The food was amazing, including the veggie options which a lot of restaurants get wrong. The service was brilliant and we will definitely be returning. 10/10 recommend 🤍

Such a hidden gem! Me and the boyfriend went for the first time ever and were more than impressed, The food was made fresh and the portions were generous, lots of choice and good quality ingredients. Boyfriend commented on the beef patty in the burger being the best tasting and quality he has ever had The cocktails were beautiful and made infront of you at the bar, staff were polite and lovely and were accommodating to use wanting to take time between courses. Definitely will go back and definitely recommend

Frequented many of of the pubs in Nottingham and this is the favourite. New owners have done a marvellous job. The food is out of the top drawer, you can tell they use high end ingredients. It really is stand out. Excellent value for money too. Great selection of drinks and superb staff.

We came here as a family and it was an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. The staff were super kind and friendly and the food was amazing! It was Sunday, so roasts all around, and oh my goodness were they ever good. We had the 3-course menus and from start to finish, it did not disappoint. The haddock bubble and squeak was amazing and such a light starter, but we also tried the mac and cheese and cauliflower soup which were absolutely delicious. The roast chicken and beef were fantastic and the sauces were great. We were really thankful as well as they brought extra Yorkshire puddings for my uncle (he was thrilled!). Dessert was excellent as well and we loved the brownie, crumble and orange and rhubarb fool. Side note as well, their Old Fashioned cocktail was really good too! I'd highly recommend a visit. :)
