The landlady pours Landlord, the phonebox sells books.
There's whippets with Guiness and boxers with Coors.
Perrito salchichas licking wine from their paws.
The pool-party will never be under the sun;
The only splashing leaves dashes of Innis & Gunn.
The garden is blazing from breakfast till dusk.
But stay away from that corner and fear the buck musk.
Love going in here excellent pint of Magners dark fruits cider, the chap behind the bar is very friendly and the locals are lovely 😊
Very much a locals pub, but we’re not locals and only go in once in a blue moon but always made to feel welcome when we do go in. Wish we lived closer as it’s a great proper pub. Decent Guinness to boot.
You won't find a better traditional pub in Lancashire.
Warm and friendly staff and the real fie is always lit.
Locals are welcoming and funny.
