About This Pub

Ah, The Roebuck Inn – it's one of those classic pubs that you come across in the Midlands, tucked away on Amblecote Road, and it's got that real community feel to it. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's brilliant for a casual get-together; the staff are proper lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels welcome, which is just what you want on a chilly evening. The atmosphere is spot on too – think lively conversations and a good pint that goes down a treat. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect; the place is starting to look a tad worn out, with some folks mentioning it's a bit tatty and not as clean as it could be, especially the toilets. And there've been a few grumbles about the service being off sometimes, like if the landlady's having an off day. Still, with an overall rating of 4.1, it's clear most people have a good time, so if you're popping in for a quick one, I'd say go for it but keep your expectations realistic – it's got heart, but it might need a bit of TLC to shine even brighter.

  • The beer selection is enjoyable and hits the spot, especially if you're after a traditional pub experience.
Cons
  • The decor is looking a bit tired and tatty these days, which takes away from the overall charm.

  • Service can be hit or miss, with some reports of rudeness that might put a dampener on your evening.

1 star is too much. Pub is grotty, toilets are dirty. Landlady is rude & never cracked a smile the whole time I was there.

Called in for a swift half whilst walking the dogs. Always a very warm welcome. Friendly helpful staff, even invited us inside as it was a little chilly. Thank you
