Popped in for food after shopping but have been on other occasions and always found the staff and atmosphere excellent.
Lots of events, music and fundraising making it feel like an old school community pub.
My Dad used to come here with the walking group. Unfortunately Dad passed away last year and had his ashes shattered near the 9 locks canal. We had a wonderful buffet for his wake for 20 people. Staff were very helpful. Made our day. Many thanks

Nicola and Patrick go way above and beyond to make sure all of their customers are happy, the staff they have working here are also amazing, nothing is to much trouble for them.
Never disappointed when we come here, we always have the best time with lots of laughs and giggles.

Came here yesterday after a lovely day walking our dogs.
We only popped in for 1 drink but it was such a lovely atmosphere that we stayed for a couple more and ordered food too!
Staff and customers really friendly and chatty. My daughters were especially fans of the pub dog who came out to the beer garden to meet my 2 dogs!
Food was great. We had a veggie pizza and chips and a kids burger and chips. Good value and quick service.
This pub is in a great spot on the canal and especially nice to be able to sit outside in the sunshine.
Thank you for a lovely afternoon and we will definitely be returning!
