About This Pub
Ah, The Rising Sun – it's one of those hidden gems you stumble upon and end up raving about to your mates. From the reviews, it's clear folks love the friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, like you're part of the gang from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is spot on too, with a lively buzz and always a bit of excitement in the air, whether it's events or just the general chatter. And let's not forget the ales; the Timothy Taylor Boltmaker is a standout, perfect for settling in with good company. It's got that authentic traditional charm, especially with the Blackburn Rovers nod, which adds a nice local touch. On the downside, though, the opening times look a tad confusing based on what's out there, so you might want to confirm before you go. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to get details online, and if you're someone who prefers a more contemporary spot with all the bells and whistles, it might feel a bit old-school. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back evening – honest, it's got the heart and soul of a great British pub, but with a few rough edges that keep it real.
