About This Pub

Ah, The Raven W6 – it's one of those tucked-away gems in London that just feels like a proper neighbourhood spot, you know? I've heard from folks that the pizzas and burgers are real winners, all homemade with fresh ingredients that leave you wanting more; it's the kind of place where you can kick back with a pint and some mates after a wander around Ravenscourt Park. The staff are generally lovely and welcoming, adding to that chilled-out atmosphere that's perfect for a Tuesday night deal or catching up over a meal. But, to be fair, it's not all smooth sailing – there've been times when service has dragged on, even when it's not busy, and some starters have fallen short, feeling a tad cheap and lacking that extra touch. Still, overall, it's a solid choice for us pub enthusiasts looking for good value and a bit of history, as long as you go in with realistic expectations and maybe stick to the standout dishes.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The pizzas and burgers are absolutely spot on – fresh, homemade, and packed with flavour, making it a top choice for a hearty meal.
  • The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, perfect for a casual get-together or chatting with the friendly staff who really make you feel welcome.
  • They've got some cracking deals, like pizza nights, which are brilliant value and add to the fun of popping in regularly.
  • It's got a rich history tied to the local area, which gives it that extra charm and makes it feel like a proper community hub.
  • Family-friendly vibes and a welcoming setup, ideal for enjoying a pint or a bite with mates or even the little ones.
Cons
  • Service can be hit or miss, with some reports of long waits for food even when it's quiet, which might leave you a bit frustrated.
  • A few dishes, like the starters, haven't impressed everyone, coming across as a bit underwhelming or not up to the same high standards as the mains.
  • It might not suit those after something fancy, as the focus is more on casual grub rather than refined culinary experiences.

Booked a table for dinner and what a disappointment! The starters were deep fried cheap frozen stuff (OMG) served in bare metal cups with tiny sauces without any sense of culinary passion or attention to detail. We waited SO long for the pizzas (and the pub was empty) that we had to cancel the order. Gaging from the poor quality of the starters we didn’t expect much of the pizzas. We will skip this place now.

The burger and pizza was to die for the best burger and pizza I have ever eaten. If you are around the area go here for the food would highly recommend. The buffalina pizza was the highlight of the meal.

It’s a cute little pub to experience the local pubs in London. I went there by chance on my explore the area of Ravenscourt park and while looking for nearby stations I sited this pub and went inside. The atmosphere was chill and some sports on the screen was beautiful for a weekend afternoon. To my surprise they have more space inside and more activities too, like live music, children book reading etc. on the board the calendar is written to check if you catch any of it. I enjoyed the small little bites and drinks and spent wonderful time watching the matches.

This is a very local pub with tons of atmosphere. If you enjoy talking to locals and a friendly staff this is your place. Really good pizza an extremely friendly chefs. We got a dessert for free. daily deals such as two pizzas and a bottle of wine for 30 pounds. Visited as a family and had a great time. Recommended
