About This Pub
Ah, the Old Ship – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper London hideaway, tucked away by the Thames with that classic British charm. I've got to say, the views are something else; whether you're sipping a pint on the terrace or tucking into a hearty Sunday roast, it's hard not to feel relaxed and right at home. The food really hits the mark too – think perfectly cooked beef with a cracking Yorkshire pud, or fresh fish specials that show off its riverside vibe – and the portions are generous enough to leave you satisfied without breaking the bank. Service-wise, the team is always welcoming and quick, which makes it easy to pop in for a quick drink or plan something bigger like a birthday bash. On the flip side, it does get packed on nicer days, so if you're not one for a bit of a queue, I'd recommend booking ahead to snag a good spot. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting that authentic pub experience with a scenic twist – I'd definitely head back for another go!

Went by for Sunday Roast and Hugo spritz. The beef roast was cooked to perfection, and the Yorkshire pudding didn’t disappoint. My first Sunday roast experience was perfect:)
Book meal for myself and my aunty, sat inside with view of River Thames, service was quick and friendly.
Food was delicious and generous portions.
Excellent service by Moni and other team members. Amazing starters grilled prawn toast and mushroom toast, fish and chips. Great place to spend time here on Sunday with a river view.
Very delicious Sunday roast - amazing veggie option for a roast that comes with a crisp cider and beer. Quite busy on a sunny Sunday, so better to book a table. Will definitely return.
Very tasty and reasonably priced roast. I had the half chicken and couldn't finish it...so much chicken! The pub was very busy so book ahead if you can. We had to wait around to get a seat. The sticky toffee pudding was a treat. Would definitely return. Very good location by the river.
