About This Pub
You know, I had a lovely time at The Cross Keys the other day, and it's just one of those pubs that feels like a proper local spot without any pretence. The staff are so approachable and really go the extra mile – think table service and even free popcorn to make you smile. The Thai food is a standout; I tried the red curry and it was spot on, full of flavour and paired nicely with a pint of their excellent ale. It's got all the traditional touches you love, like a darts board and board games for a bit of fun, plus that garden area is brilliant for chilling out when the weather's nice. They're great with families and even have a resident cat, which adds to the homely feel. On the flip side, it's not the easiest place to stumble upon, being down a quiet lane, and if you're popping in for food, check the times first because it wraps up earlier than you'd think. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening with mates, offering that perfect mix of good grub, drinks, and laughs, though it might not suit if you're after something more central or with late-night options.
Pros and Cons
Pros

The staff are absolutely brilliant, always friendly and make you feel right at home with their warm vibes and top-notch service.
-
The food is a real highlight – their Thai dishes like red and green curries are spot on, alongside solid pub classics, all at great value.
-
It's got a cosy, welcoming atmosphere with a roaring fire, darts, board games, and a lovely garden that's perfect for relaxing on a sunny day.
-
They show live sports on multiple screens, have a great selection of ales, and it's dog-friendly, making it ideal for a casual get-together.
Cons
-
It's tucked away in a back street, so it can be a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area.
-
Parking is paid and only nearby, which might add a bit of hassle if you're driving in.
-
Food service hours are limited, like only until the afternoon on some days, so you might need to plan your visit around that.

Great pub with great staff! Special shout out to the guy with the glasses and the small blonde girl handing out beer mats — absolute stars. Table service, free popcorn, and genuinely warm vibes throughout. A+!
I am back to tell you that the guy who runs this pub knows how to look after his lines. The best London Pride can be found here.
If you like it then this place is for you.
Garden area is the best place to relax. Turn left out the back door for big seating.
Pleased to see they now have Thai food on the new menu.
I'll be there soon.
Popped in here after visiting the Emery walker house. I had the red curry which was absolutely fabulous & my partner had the green & he said the same. We also had the fish cake & spring roll starters. Also first class. Would not hesitate in eating here again.
The Cross Keys Pub in Hammersmith is an absolute gem! 🌟 Nestled in the heart of Hammersmith, this charming pub offers a delightful blend of traditional British pub vibes and modern comforts. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with cozy seating and friendly staff who make you feel right at home.
One of the highlights of The Cross Keys is their fantastic selection of pints. 🍺 Whether you're a fan of classic ales or prefer something a bit more adventurous, they've got you covered. I recently tried their locally brewed IPA, and it was an absolute treat – crisp, refreshing, and bursting with flavour. Perfect for unwinding after a long day or catching up with friends.
The pub also boasts a lovely outdoor seating area, ideal for those sunny days when you just want to soak up some rays while enjoying your drink. 🌞 And if you're feeling peckish, their menu offers a variety of delicious pub grub, from hearty burgers to scrumptious fish and chips.
Overall, The Cross Keys Pub is a must-visit for anyone in Hammersmith looking for a great pint and a good time. Cheers! 🍻
A fantastic pub with a real mix of atmospheres. Darts and pork scratchings in one area, a genuine ‘public house’ of people from the neighbourhood hanging out and talking in another. A dining room in the back then a fantastic garden area. Plus a small event space with some fantastic comedy on Friday nights. This pub is highly recommended. It’s how pubs should be. Perfect.
