About This Pub
Ah, The Rainbow Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered from the chatter online, folks are really chuffed with the beer selection and the friendly service that keeps things light and enjoyable. It's got that authentic old-school atmosphere where you can kick back without any pretence, and they've got entertainment lined up regularly, plus loads of outdoor space come summer for soaking up the sun with a cold one in hand. That said, it's not all perfect; parking might leave you circling a bit, and if you're with kids, the lack of a playground could be a downside, making it more suited to adults or older groups. Overall, with a solid 4.3 rating, it's worth a visit if you're after a straightforward, welcoming spot in Coventry – just keep an eye on their updates for any new happenings!

They've got recurrent entertainment and plenty of garden space in the summer months, perfect for enjoying a drink outdoors.

Under the new management, it's shaping up nicely with a positive buzz from recent visitors.
Cons

It's a shame there's no playground for the little ones, which might put off families looking for a family-friendly outing.

Popped in for a couple of pints with my dog. Good beer and good service. What's not to like.
A proper old school boozer. A welcoming pub where you'd go because of the quality of the drinks & the ambience, not somewhere just to be seen
Nice village pub with decent ale selection, recurrent entertainment, and nice old-fashioned atmosphere
Nice, old, little pub, nice service. Could be challenging with parking. Shame no playground for kids was refreshed.
In summer months plenty of garden space
Disregard reviews prior to 16th December 2022 when the pub re-opened under new management. Well, that is, the same management as the Old Windmill in the centre of Coventry, so expect to see only good reviews in the future! It's early days so keep an eye on their Facebook page for food, but otherwise expect a clean, comfortable pub with a good selection of well-kept drinks and happy customers. Well done team - I'll be back. 😊🍻😊
