About This Pub
Ah, The Queens Pub – it's one of those places in Blackpool that just feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered, it's got this fantastic friendly buzz about it, with staff who go out of their way to make sure everyone's having a good time, and the drinks are priced just right for a relaxed evening without worrying about the wallet. I love how they've packed in so many events throughout the week, from the Monday card school to Saturday football bingo and Sunday karaoke; it's brilliant for mixing things up and meeting new faces. The beer gardens are a real treat on a sunny day, and that function room comes in handy for anything from a casual get-together to something a bit more sombre like a wake, with a tidy buffet to match. On the flip side, being adults-only means it's not ideal if you've got the kids in tow, and those opening hours might feel a tad late if you're an early riser. Still, overall, it's a solid choice for a pint and a laugh – I'd say it's worth popping in for a proper Blackpool experience, as long as you're up for a bit of a crowd during the busier nights.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
Drinks are really affordable, with a great selection that won't break the bank – perfect for a casual night out.
-
It's got a lively atmosphere with loads of weekly events like quiz nights, bingo, karaoke, and even football bingo, keeping things fun and engaging.
-
The pub is spotlessly clean, from the bars to the toilets, and they've got two large beer gardens for enjoying a pint outdoors when the weather's nice.
-
They have a separate room for hire that's ideal for functions, like wakes or small gatherings, with a smashing buffet option to boot.
Cons
-
It's adults-only, so if you're after a family-friendly spot, this might not be the one for you.
-
Opening times can be a bit late in the day, starting from 1pm on some weekdays, which might not suit early birds.
-
It could get quite busy during popular events, making it tricky to find a seat or enjoy a quiet chat.

Wonderful meal at the Queen's! Service great, especially the manager who paid great attention to all guests!
A good atmosphere and good beer at cheap prices 👌
Friendly local pub, good selection of drinks. Great atmosphere and people. Outside beer garden
Great prices great atmosphere adults only .
Very clean and comfortable. Drinks were cheap. Bar staff were friendly and welcoming. Toilets were very clean. They had laid out a buffet for us which was extremely well presented. About 30 of us went for a wake on Thursday afternoon and there was plenty of space for us to mingle and plenty of seating available. Would definitely go again.
