About This Pub
Ah, The Queen’s Head, what a gem in the heart of London! From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this real lively energy, especially if you're into gigs and live music – think punk nights and funky Sundays that keep things exciting. The beer selection is spot on, with plenty of ales and ciders to choose from, and the food, particularly the pizzas, sounds absolutely scrumptious without costing a fortune. That courtyard out back is a lovely touch for when the sun's out, and the staff come across as genuinely friendly, always up for a chat. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame they run out of beer now and then, and going cashless might put off a few folks who prefer good old cash. Plus, it can feel a bit nippy inside on cooler days, and sorting out when they're open isn't straightforward. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening, but maybe pop in prepared for those little quirks – I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area and up for some good times with a pint in hand.

Great venue for gigs and a good range of beers available. Bar is cashless! Always running out of beer though! Nice little courtyard out the back! I
Great pub for punk gigs. Thanks to South London Punk Collective!! Lovely staff.
Good pub with a very good beer selection. Has a little stage area for presumably live acts. Service was fine and staff were friendly. Only issue was the place was a bit cold due to the weather, but I can imagine it being glorious in the summer.
Our main reason for visiting was to try the pizza (PickyWops have currently taken over the kitchen). It was absolutely delicious (we got the protein punch and a greenman with stuffed crust) and the trek to Brixton worth it. That said, if we lived closer we'd definitely visit more often just for drinks; the place has a very nice vibe :)
Good as always and more.
The pizza is delicious and doesn't spend ages to arrive.
The drinks are average London price, but goog quantity. Clean and with many seats and tables.
There is live music every Sunday. Variable genre, but mainly funky, ska and Jazz.
Really suggested.
Great little pub with nice atmosphere, a good selection of drinks including ales and ciders. Food is delicious too and not too pricey.
