This is quite an interesting place; from the outside, it might lead you to believe it is a traditional pub, but inside, it has a much more contemporary vibe, with modern choices of furniture and decoration.
The staff were very friendly and the service was fast even though they were still quite busy after an initial evening rush..
They have a really good selection of drinks and an interesting menu.
We decided to go with the fish and were impressed with the size and presentation of the food; I considered it great value for money.
The beer batter was exactly right with a firm crunch to it; the fish inside was moist and tasty. The chips had a great texture with a fluffy inside. Both cooked to perfection.
The pub is clearly popular with both locals and visitors. It has a decent sized car park and an external drinking area suitable for those warm summer nights.

Went for a Sunday roast, table of 8 and was excellent. Very large portion and selection of veg and sauces. Gravy float was the largest I’ve seen! Decent selection for beer and wine also. All in all, highly recommend, 5 ⭐
Just had lunch today … my husband had the vegetarian pie with mash and minted peas I had fish and chips with mushy peas portions were huge .. very tasty meals lovely friendly staff will definitely go back
This must be the best and biggest Sunday roast ever that I’ve had from a pub. Friendly and happy staff. Great Atmosphere, we really enjoyed our evening. We wanted dessert, but just didn’t have any room for it.
