About This Pub

Oh, what a gem The Queens Arms is – I've got to say, it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper London classic, tucked away in Pimlico and not far from the hustle of Victoria station. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with this warm, inviting atmosphere that's perfect for sinking into a comfy spot with a pint of real ale or one of their craft beers. The food really stands out; they've got these seasonal menus packed with local produce, and the Sunday roasts are spot on – tender meats, crispy potatoes, and all the trimmings that leave you feeling chuffed. Plus, it's brilliant for anyone with dietary needs, like gluten-free options that don't skimp on flavour. The staff are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which adds to that homely feel. On the flip side, it does get busy, especially when the sun's out and folks are spilling onto the street, so you might have to jostle for space or book ahead for a table. And while the prices are fair for what you get, they can mount up if you're indulging in a full meal and a few rounds. All in all, it's a top spot for a casual get-together or even a quick bite before hitting the sights – I'd pop in without a second thought, but maybe aim for a quieter time if you're after a more relaxed chat.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely brilliant – think delicious Sunday roasts, tasty gluten-free options, and classic pub fare that's spot on for a hearty meal.
  • The staff are so welcoming and attentive; it's like chatting with old mates behind the bar, making you feel right at home.
  • It's got a cracking atmosphere, whether you're after a lively spot downstairs for drinks or a quieter upstairs for a bite.
  • Smashing location in Pimlico, just a short walk from Victoria station and near all the London sights, perfect for a post-explore pint.
  • A great selection of real ales, craft beers, and cocktails that really hit the spot after a long day.
Cons
  • It can get a bit crowded, especially during peak times like after work or on sunny days when everyone spills out front.
  • With moderate prices, it might add up if you're planning a full evening of food and drinks, so keep an eye on the bill.
  • The upstairs dining area is lovely but might feel a tad separate from the main buzz if you're after that full pub vibe.

Lovely gem! Staff is extremely kind and personal, great menu, typical pub food but the portions match the prices, Guinness was pretty good! (Confirmed by my Irish friend) Atmosphere is lively and welcoming. I reserved a spot for dinner and we were seated upstairs which is more quiet versus the bar area. Would recommend this spot!

SO GOOD that we went two days in a row. The gluten free fish and chips was amazing for anyone whether they need gluten free or not. The service was first rate — shout out to Flora for her hospitality. Fun atmosphere in an old pub in the heart of the city.

What a great little gem for a quiet place to eat. We stopped in here on our first night in London, after checking out the parliament buildings and Big Ben. The food was delicious, and our server Will was thoroughly charming. Highly recommend

My family have been know to pop in for lunch on a Saturday, before they go to football. This Sunday I joined them following the London Landmark Half Marathon. Absolutely brilliant lunch(ish). The Sunday Roast was delicious, tender pork, crispy roast pots & plenty of veg. The beef was perfectly cooked & my daughter enjoyed the Malaysian style curry. We did have room for dessert, all delicious. The staff were friendly & welcoming & we didn't feel rushed. No doubt we'll be back.

Had a wonderful lunch. Highly recommend for gluten free food. On arrival they asked if we had any allergies and were very helpful. Menu clearly labelled with what is and can be made gluten free. There were plenty gluten free options. I had pulled beef brisket croquettes with BBQ sauce and beer battered fish and chips. When they served my food they confirmed it was gluten free. Very generous portions and food was delicious. Staff were very friendly. I’d definitely go back as they had so many good gluten free options.
