About This Pub
Ah, The Plough & Harrow – it's one of those proper British pubs that just feels like a warm hug when you walk in, tucked away in Bromsgrove and buzzing with that community spirit. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely rave about the food; think hearty classics like steak pies that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank, especially with those cracking deals on offer. The staff really make the place shine too – they're so welcoming and on point, it'll have you coming back for more. Plus, with a dog-friendly beer garden and free WiFi, it's ideal for a relaxed afternoon with friends or even a family get-together. On the flip side, it's a shame about the occasional kitchen mishap, like when meals come out overdone, which has put a dampener on things for a few visitors. Overall, though, with its solid 4.2 rating and that lively atmosphere complete with sports on the telly, I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after a straightforward, enjoyable pub experience – just keep an eye on the menu and go in with realistic expectations for a balanced night out.

There have been a few grumbles about the food not always hitting the mark, like one instance where chips and a burger were overcooked and disappointing.

Recent Reviews
I've had to change my last review because we recently visited again for some food and so glad we did 😊
Lovely place, super clean, and the food is great, excellent staff with a good atmosphere, we will definitely be going back, A1 service all round
Went here as a table of 10 for our belated Christmas meal, 18/01/25 honestly cannot fault it, the food was absolutely spot on, I had steak and ale pie it was lovely. Several people had steak cooked to different requirements and everyone was happy in how their steak was cooked. The staff were attentive but left us too it, they were friendly, efficient in clearing the table and just overall lovely 😍 I would 100% recommend visiting this lovely pub, we will definitely go again. Thankyou to Beth and your lovely team 😁
Really enjoyed our first visit to the Plough & Harrow. Two meals for £13.50p is a bargain, and we enjoyed what we had.
Very disappointed with the food, couldn't eat the chips, the burger and bacon was cremated !
