About This Pub
Ah, The Pleasant Inn, it's one of those pubs that just warms your cockles on a chilly evening, isn't it? From what I've gathered from the chats online, it's all about that genuine, down-to-earth feel where the staff and the crowd make you feel like you're part of the gang straight away. I love how folks rave about the affordable beer and that inviting atmosphere with a roaring fire – it's spot on for unwinding after a stroll up Tandle Hill or just nipping in for a chinwag. The pints of bitter get high praise too, with one chap calling it the best in North Royton, which sounds like a winner for us beer enthusiasts. But let's keep it real, there was that one review where the beer didn't quite hit the mark, which is a bit of a shame and might leave you wanting more consistency. Still, with an overall solid rating, it's clear this place does a lot right, especially for those seeking a proper community pub vibe. If you're heading out that way, I'd say give it a go – just maybe check it's open first, as details are a tad sparse. All in all, it's a gem with a few rough edges, but that's what makes these local spots so charming, eh?

There have been a few grumbles about the beer not tasting quite right sometimes, which could put a dampener on things.

Very friendly. Cheap beer. Good atmosphere
Possibly the best pub in Royton. Away from the busy centre and always made to feel welcome. The customers are very friendly and are happy to chat to any new faces. A short walk to tandle hill. Best pint of bitter in north royton 🍺😁
