I usually pop into this pub after a day of teaching for a quick pint. The staff are always incredibly friendly, and the service is consistently impeccable. I haven’t had the pleasure of eating here yet, but friends and colleagues speak very highly of the food — it sounds just as impressive as the atmosphere and service. I can’t recommend this pub enough!
Cool atmosphere & friendly service but kids menu is seriously overpriced! £5 for a heated can of spaghetti hoops is a bit outrageous & £6 for an ice cream in a cone rivals beachside Brighton prices. Think the ice cream is cheaper in harrods! 🤷🏻♀️😂
Shame, as otherwise a lovely little pub. Just a bit unreasonable.
Sunday roasts were great. We had Beef topside and lamb. Both were very tasty. Always good food. Reasonably priced.
This is a stunning pub, extremely nice staff... I came here to complete some work today....

The pig and whistle has comfy, covered outside seating and a real homely feel to the decor inside... Impeccably clean throughout offering Darts and warm pork scratchings 😋😋
I tried one... So Fresh, with a rich full flavour, moist a totally different experience from cold ones... Highly recommend.

Excellent local pub. South African owners I believe, great selection of SA food and standard pub dishes. The BBQ Platter is an amazing feast! Great crisps and bar snacks. Watched all of the Rugby World Cup games here and the atmosphere was fantastic. Keep it up!
