About This Pub
Ah, The Jolly Gardeners – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot every time I think about it. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place is all about that perfect blend of quality grub and a welcoming feel, like you're catching up with old mates in your local. The food stands out a mile; folks rave about the Sunday roasts and the overall menu, which keeps things casual without skimping on taste – it's no wonder it's got such a strong following since it kicked off back in 2014. The staff seem to be the real heart of the place, always ready with a smile and a bit of banter that makes you feel right at home, whether you're there for a quick pint in the garden or a proper sit-down meal. On the flip side, though, it's a shame about the Monday closures and the earlier closing times on some days, which might put a damper on spontaneous plans, and those moderate prices can sneak up on you if you're not watching the tab. All in all, if you're after a solid spot for good times and great food without the fuss, it's definitely worth a visit – just check the hours first to avoid any disappointments!

Very laid back, The Jolly Gardeners is a super duper pub on Garratt lane. Lovely people and super service from the staff, accompanied by a smile and a joke or six. Best Uber service from the Econocar parked outside in Lydden Road. This car is the jetsons on the street. Flying soon. X
Yum! Tasty food, quick service. Nice atmosphere in Garden.
Very nice experience.
The Sunday roast is amazing (both chicken and pork). I've been there 3 times and it never disappoints me.
Truly recommended.
I've known this pub for many years before the fabulous food by Adam + team with sublime service led by Steve - it's never been better!
If it was at the bottom of our road I'd be asking for a job! Never had a bad anything, need to make it our regular!
(wont be good for the waistline though! ;-)
Booked private dining here for a special occasion. From the canapees to the main and dessert, everything was exceptional. I couldn't fault a thing. Service was impeccable too, I really can't praise the team at the Jolly Gardener highly enough. They do a cracking Sunday lunch too! Can recommend :D
