About This Pub
Ah, The Park Inn – it's one of those unassuming local gems that you stumble upon and end up recommending to mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place really shines with its great selection of beers at prices that won't have you wincing, especially compared to other spots in the area. The staff are absolute legends, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels welcome, which adds such a warm touch to the experience. It's spot-on if you're heading to Alexandra Palace for a gig or some sport, with a cosy beer garden, a pool table, and darts to keep things entertaining. Plus, having the footy or rugby on the telly makes it a top choice for game days, and the fact you can bring your own grub is a nice bonus for keeping costs down. On the flip side, it's a smaller venue, so it might not buzz with energy all the time and could feel a tad quiet if you're after a lively night out. The online side of things seems a bit neglected, with a simple website and no owner claims, which might mean you're relying on word of mouth for the latest. All in all, it's a solid pick for a laid-back pint and a catch-up, but keep in mind it kicks off from 2 PM, so it's more of an afternoon and evening haunt. If you're in the mood for something straightforward and welcoming, give it a go – you'll likely leave with a smile.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The beer selection is fantastic and reasonably priced, making it a great spot for a pint without breaking the bank.
-
Friendly staff who are super welcoming and make you feel right at home, with some folks even calling them the best in the area.
-
It's conveniently located near Alexandra Palace, perfect for a quick stop before a gig or event, and they've got amenities like a small beer garden, pool table, and darts for a bit of fun.
-
Loads of sports on the TVs, so it's ideal if you're into watching the game with a drink in hand, and you can even bring your own food to make it even better.
Cons
-
The pub is on the small side, which means it can feel a bit quiet or cramped if it gets busy, especially on a Saturday evening.
-
It seems a tad under the radar with an unclaimed online presence, so updates might not be as reliable, and the website is pretty basic.
-
Opening from 2 PM means it's not great for a lazy morning pint, and while it's generally open every day, there might be times when things feel a bit hit or miss based on recent feedback.

Good for a quickie before a gig at Alexandra Palace. Small pub - fairly quiet for a Saturday evening
Decent place to watch sport and have a few beers. Good option if going to Ally Pally for an event there with drinks being reasonably priced.
Has a small beer garden with a couple of heaters. Has a pool table and darts board.
Has TV and sport channels. You can bring your own food too.
Pool table and decent beer, it's a winner....!
Good pub to visit before going to a gig in Alexandra Palace. Never packed and good service with a beer garden and smoking area out the back. Good selection of beers at reasonable prices.
Lovely local pub with THE BEST GUINESS I've had in all of London (and if you check my reviews you'll see I've had a LOT). They have totally refurbished the place recently so it’s fresh and comfy. Loads of sports TVs and a few great cosy spots for a chat. All kinds on tap and brilliant staff.
