About This Pub

Ah, Bohem Tap Room – what a hidden gem it is for us beer enthusiasts! I've got to say, the real highlight is their range of Czech-style lagers, brewed by actual Czechs right here in London, and they nail that authentic taste every time. Whether it's the Nicholas or another favourite, it's all about that crisp, full-flavoured pour that takes you straight to a Prague pub without leaving the city. The vibe is just spot on too – it's this cosy, intimate setup with a chilled-out feel that makes it perfect for a quiet evening or a casual chat over a pint. The staff are an absolute delight, always up for a natter and happy to recommend something new. On the flip side, it's such a small place that you might find yourself squeezing in or waiting if it gets busy, and with openings not until the afternoon, it's not the spot for a lunchtime session. Plus, if you're coming from further afield, it could mean a bit of a journey, but honestly, based on what I've heard from others, it's one of those places that leaves you buzzing and wanting to come back. All in all, it's a top choice for a genuine beer experience, as long as you go in with the right expectations for a low-key affair.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The beers are absolutely spot on – authentic Czech lagers brewed right here in London, with a great range that captures that proper Bohemian flavour.
  • It's got a lovely, chilled-out vibe that's perfect for a relaxed catch-up with mates, with a cosy indoor space and a few spots outside to enjoy the fresh air.
  • The staff are dead friendly and know their stuff, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
Cons
  • The space is pretty tiny, so it might feel a bit cramped if it's busy, and it's not ideal for larger groups.
  • It's only open six days a week, and with later starts around 4 PM, it might not suit those after an early pint.
  • Getting there could be a bit of a trek if you're not in North London, though it's definitely worth it for the beer.

It really IS a tap room - just a little counter with enough room for someone to serve you, and a cupboard for a cold room just behind to put the kegs in. Small living room space inside, and a few chairs and planters outside on the pavement. Nice chilled vibe, and of course really good beer.

The original tap room of the Bohem Brewery - small, but with grand atmosphere! Exquisite Czech brews served, all locally brewed

Fantastic wee bar. Having lived in Czechia many years ago it does an excellent job of creating authentic Czech beer in lager. Great range too. Nicholas is especially tasty. Been twice in the last two days and I live miles away.

Walked from Euston and was just getting dark when we got there (early March 2025). Definitely worth the journey for a fabulous little tap room with a few outside tables. The Czech beer (and a Gravity Well guest) were, as expected, excellent. Very much recommended.
