About This Pub
Ah, The Painted Lady – what a gem of a pub in Coventry! From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, it's got that perfect blend of traditional charm with a bit of extra spark. The staff are absolute stars, always ready with a smile and a chat, which really sets the tone for a relaxed evening. The food stands out too; those sizzling skillets and burgers are proper hearty and made with fresh ingredients, plus there are some solid options for veggies and vegans, all without breaking the bank. It's clearly a hub for the community, pitching in with local causes and providing space for gatherings, which gives it a nice, inclusive feel. Whether you're there for a quiet drink, a family meal, or to cheer on the team during a match, there's plenty of room to spread out and make yourself comfortable. On the flip side, you'll need to handle your own ordering at the bar, which might not suit everyone, especially if you're in a larger group and don't fancy playing messenger. And while it's open most days, the closing times can be a tad early for night owls. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for anyone after good value, good company, and a bit of that classic pub atmosphere – I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Cons
-
No table service means you'll have to nip up to the bar to order, which can be a bit of a faff if you're settled in with your mates.
-
The pub's hours might vary a touch, so it's worth double-checking if you're planning a late one, as it typically winds down earlier in the evenings.

Nice and simpel. No table service, you will have to order at the bar. But the food is pretty good, drink options are plenty, seatings are plenty (we dropped in with a group of 10 people, no problem), prices are good and the service is even better and friendly (thank you Ashlee).
Parking right in front or allong the street.
Lovely local, food always cooked great, staff really friendly, lounge area for families eating and bar area if your just having a drink, favourite place to go and watch the footy.
Great little local pub. Haven't been here for a while but popped in for some lunch. First impressions were good , the place was well maintained outside and in .
We received a warm welcome and were served four sizzling meals which were a good size and very good value for money.
The drink prices were also very reasonable.
Staff were very friendly and efficient and made this a venue which we will definitely return to.
Great food great festive menu
Thanks to all the team, Jessy was great and Gemma helped even though she wasn’t working
Thanks team
Absolutely stonking food for the money. As you can see, both the salad with chicken & bacon and the dirty bratwurst with dirty fries are a sight to behold. Great service and super food.
