Great pizzas. Thin base, wood-fired , tasty toppings. Maybe add salad to the menu? Service a bit slow but the pub was very busy. Very friendly staff. Garden designed like an extension of the pub - comfortable chairs, tables (just) big enough for 4 diners but, in my view, marred by a tableful of huge cigar smokers. Maybe they’d just come back from a holiday in Cuba! But, on a still evening, very very stinky! Perhaps consider, as the outside is, in a sense, part of the pub where smoking isn’t permitted, have a ‘no huge smelly cigars’ notice?
My partner and I had our wedding reception take place here last night (June 7th), after months of planning. At every step of the way, Iain, the manager, helped us with everything, and was always ready to respond asap to any questions we had. The private area we had for our event and our guests was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious, the drinks are great, and very reasonably priced also.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and became incredibly vibrant as the evening went on.
The staff worked exceptionally hard throughout the evening to ensure that everything about our special evening went off without a hitch, and we couldn’t have asked for a better time.
If you are even remotely considering hosting a private event here, then please please do so, as everybody involved will go far far above and beyond what you could reasonably expect. To Iain and the entire team, thank you so so much for giving us and every one of our guests a night to remember, and cherish fondly.
It's a nice pub to go to which seems friendly and a good atmosphere. The beer garden has plenty of room, seating, booths and an undercover bit. As I'm from South Wales I'm always going to say the cost of a pint in London is expensive. I didn't have any food so not able to comment on that. There was a tidy range of craft ales on tap, as that what I like, as well as the usual pub drinks. A good place to go and dog friendly.
The Norbiton in (funnily enough) Norbiton, east of Kingston. A lovely, shabby chic, corner pub with high ceilings and a very open family feel to it. A large dining area and a huge patio garden at the back of the house. Lovely staff with a good sense of humour. They are fast, efficient and friendly. A super, different place to visit, enjoy a drink and some simple pizza oriented dining. A most enjoyable visit, highly recommended.
The Norbiton: A Gem in Norbiton
The Norbiton pub is a delightful spot for a relaxed drink or a hearty meal. The beer selection is impressive, with a great range of options to suit all tastes. Whether you're a craft beer connoisseur or prefer a classic pint, you're sure to find something to enjoy.
The pizza is another highlight. The base is perfectly crispy, and the toppings are generous and flavorful. It's the perfect accompaniment to a cold beer.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub itself has a nice ambiance, and the outdoor area is perfect for soaking up the sun on warmer days.
Overall, The Norbiton is a fantastic local pub that offers something for everyone. Highly recommended!
A short walk from the Norbiton overground station . Free in street parking.
