The food is absolutely amazing best Caribbean roast I’ve ever had very traditional taste cooked to perfection and big portions I thought I wanted a carvery type experience but there definitely wasn’t room for anymore.
I recently dined at The Mount in Chingford with a friend on a Saturday, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. We were greeted by Ashley, whose bubbly and welcoming energy set a positive tone for our visit. Her deep knowledge of the menu and excellent recommendations made our meal all the more enjoyable.
I opted for the Mixed Meat roast, which included jerk chicken and a succulent lamb roast. The meats were cooked to perfection, with the lamb and jerk pork particularly standing out for its tender, slow-cooked quality. The flavours were rich and satisfying, making every bite a delight.
Additionally, I ordered a side of Mac and cheese. It was perfectly seasoned, delicious, and had a wonderful texture that complemented the meal beautifully. The drinks were reasonably priced, which added to the overall value of our dining experience and purchased a bottle of Prosecco for under £20.
Ashley consistently checked in with us, delivering excellent customer service throughout our visit. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our time at The Mount.
I highly recommend The Mount for its superb food, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to soon!!!
What a lovely place this is, highly recommend for a Sunday roast or a date night where you’ll experience one of if not the best burger in London with 300 gram patty it’s just amazing look at this thing. The staff are just so pleasant and welcoming and you have a true home feel to this pub / bar and the drinks are awesome!
