About This Pub
Ah, The Moorfields in Bath – what a gem it is for anyone fancying a relaxed yet enjoyable pub experience. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food really steals the show; folks rave about the Sunday roasts, with tender meats, fresh veg, and even standout veggie options that don't feel like an afterthought. It's that kind of place where you can pop in for a quick bite or settle in for a full meal, and the staff go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly, like when someone mentioned using their blue light card for a nice discount. The garden and outdoor areas are just lovely for soaking up the atmosphere on a nice day, and it's brilliant how they welcome dogs and families without any fuss. On the flip side, it does get packed at peak times, so planning ahead is a must if you don't want to miss out, and the prices are a bit on the higher end for a casual pint, which might not suit everyone's wallet. All in all, it's a solid choice for a great night out in Bath – honest, hearty, and full of that warm pub charm that keeps people coming back.

Plenty of atmosphere with indoor and outdoor options, plus things like TNT Sports and a function room for events, making it versatile for any occasion.

It can get quite busy, especially on weekends or for popular events like Sunday roasts, so you might need to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

With a moderate price level, it might feel a tad pricey for just a quick drink, though the quality makes it worth it for a proper meal.

We had a Monday evening dinner. Everything went smoothly and the food was very good. We were able to use our blue light card so it was nice to get some discount. I ordered the beef pie from the specials menu and it was very good. I highly recommend
We came here for a Roast on Mothers Day and it was fantastic. We don’t often go out for roasts as we find they’re disappointing, but this was the opposite. The pork and chicken was tender, and the veggie option was delicious. The roast potatoes and other veg seemed fresh, rather than being dry and hot-held. Staff were lovely and accommodating for an allergy too! We’ll be back again and definitely recommending to others.
The best place for a Sunday roast! Really tasty and amazing veggie and vegan options as well. The sticky toffee pudding is unreal. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. My third visit and will definitely continue to return!
My Airbnb host, based walking distance from the pub, has recommended me the place during my short visit to Bath.
I dined by myself here twice, each time it was a great experience. Staff is very helpful, friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Food is uncomplicated, well presented, and very well cooked. I had sirloin steak one night, and it was made exactly as I ordered and like it. Great atmosphere here too, with live music.
If I'll be staying nearby again, I'll definitely come back.
What a place for a Sunday roast. Lovely sitting area inside and out.
You watch the chef prepare the food which I always like.
The food was not to disappoint, well presented, so much flavour & freshness.
It didn't look a lot on the plate but it was all hidden under the big Yorkshire and meat. I had the beef and the missus had the pork belly. 👌👌👌👌 reasonably price for what you get.
