About This Pub
Ah, The Nowhere Tavern, what a gem in Bath! I've got to say, it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a good night out. The burgers are seriously delicious – think juicy, flavoursome options that leave you wanting more, whether you're into the classic meat ones or something a bit different like the peanut butter twist. Pair that with a laid-back atmosphere full of laughs, from the pool table to video games and even some lively events with DJs or comedy nights, and you've got yourself a proper fun spot. The drinks are fairly priced too, which is always a win when you're catching up with friends. On the flip side, it's worth noting that weekends can turn into a bit of a squeeze, so if you're after a more relaxed visit, weekdays are your best bet. Plus, the hours are mostly evenings, and things wind down early, so it's not the place for a lazy afternoon session or a very late one. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone in Bath looking for good food, vibes, and a touch of excitement – just plan ahead and you'll have a brilliant time!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The burgers are absolutely spot on – fresh, tasty, and a real highlight, whether you're going for the meaty ones or the veggie options.
-
It's got a chilled-out atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding, with fun extras like video games, pool, and even events with DJs or live comedy.
-
Drinks are reasonably priced, especially for a place in Bath, making it a great spot for a casual night out without breaking the bank.
-
Easy to reach and welcoming, especially on quieter weekdays when you can snag a table without any fuss.
Cons
-
It can get pretty packed on weekends, so you might struggle to find a seat or enjoy the space as much.
-
Opening hours are a bit limited, mostly evenings and not every day, which means it's not ideal if you're after a daytime pint or a spontaneous visit.
-
The food service wraps up relatively early, so if you're planning a late-night feast, you might miss out.

Recent Reviews
Excellent burger and fries, quiet on a weekday, easy to get a table but not sure that would be the case at the weekend. Highly recommended.
Nice atmosphere. Excellent pint pricing given where we are. Fun video game corner and pool section.
But you’re not here for that in this review. You want to hear about the Biscoff Burger, don’t you?
As the team shealtered from storm Darragh, I took to what I normally do in times of crisis, eat.
The Biscoff burger consisted of a burger patty, bacon and a large smothering of Biscoff sauce on the two brioche buns.
The flavour profile was very unique. The sweet, almost carmel taste of the Biscoff sauce was beautifully cut through by the fat and salt of the burger and bacon. The bun served to soak up the sauce. Whilst at the end of the meal I felt a bit queasy, perhaps was that was more up to the 5 pints I had already ingested.
The fries were just okay. Salty potatoes ticks to soak up alcohol. Would have prepared big chips.
Burgers tasted soooooo good!! We had one vegetarian and one meat burger with peanut butter in (sorry can't remember the name)... but both were super delicious. Definitely worth the quick walk over from the town centre, would highly recommend!
One of Bath's hidden gems.
Very chilled atmosphere, great burgers and decent djs can be found, check out the events listing for there.
Live comedy acts, and a function room available for bookings, great sound system and lighting rigs there also available for hire.
Also you can get to see beer filling up from the bottom of the glass, yes you heard me correctly, the bottom of the glass. One of a select few venues ANYWHERE in the UK that has it.
Friendly staff, great food, great range of rums and craft draft beers.
9/10
A pleasingly modernised yet not over the top pub crossed with lighting aesthetics and a burger menu straight out of an American-style dive bar. Burgers are freshly cooked to order; I tried their buttermilk chicken burger which was both decadent yet surprisingly light going down without leaving you feeling bloated!
Chill vibes and great food, a perfect place for either a burger dinner or pregaming for a night out. Definitely worth visiting, all good things have beginnings!
