About This Pub

Ah, The Mitre – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Blackpool, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are top-notch, always up for a chat and making sure everyone has a good time, which really sets the tone for a relaxed evening. The atmosphere is spot on too; it's cosy without being cramped, and that jukebox adds a nice touch for when you fancy a singalong or just some background tunes. Most people seem to love popping in for a couple of drinks, and it's easy to see why it's got such a high rating overall. But, to be fair, there was that one story about a mix-up with the drinks prices, where someone ended up paying more than expected, which could put a dampener on things if you're not careful. Still, with so many positive vibes from regulars and visitors alike, I'd say it's worth giving it a go – just keep things in perspective and enjoy the best bits. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a friendly spot to unwind, as long as you're prepared for the occasional hiccup.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant and friendly, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • It's got a lovely, cosy atmosphere with a great jukebox that adds to the fun and keeps things lively.
  • The pub has a huge personality and welcoming vibes, perfect for a relaxing pint or a chat with mates.
  • Overall, it's a solid spot for a drink, with most folks raving about the service and the overall experience.
Cons
  • There have been a few grumbles about pricing errors, like one person getting charged extra for drinks without realising it, so it's worth double-checking your bill.
  • Based on the odd negative comment, it might not be perfect every time, especially if you're after spot-on accuracy in service.

Had a wee trip to Blackpool and came in here for a pint and ended up having a couple. Great service from the red haired, black spectacled bar maid. Definitely is worth walking through the door for a drink .
