About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about the Beach House Bistro & Bar – it's one of those places in Blackpool that really captures the essence of a seaside getaway. I have to say, the views are just magical; sitting there with the sea in front of you makes every meal feel like a treat. The food's a highlight too – starters and mains like the fillet steak or salmon come out spot on, packed with flavour and prepared with real care. And the staff? They're an absolute delight, always on hand with a smile and quick to make sure everything's just right. It's got that lively vibe with live music and outdoor seating, which is brilliant for soaking up the atmosphere on a nice day. On the downside, though, some desserts didn't quite live up to the rest – I heard the Basque cheesecake was a bit bland, which is a shame after such a great start. Plus, the music can crank up a notch and make it hard to have a proper chat, and let's be honest, it's not the cheapest spot, so you might want to save it for a special occasion. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're after a memorable meal with a view, but keep those little hiccups in mind for a balanced experience.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The views from this spot are absolutely stunning, right on the promenade with the sea stretching out – it's perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening.
-
The food is generally spot on, with tasty starters like tomato dishes and chicken tenders, and mains such as fillet steak and salmon that are cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
-
There's a great atmosphere with live music and a nice outdoor seating area, which adds to the fun without overwhelming things too much.
-
It's got a separate dining and bar area, which makes it versatile for different occasions, and some options feel reasonably priced despite the overall expense.
Cons
-
Some desserts can be a bit underwhelming, like the Basque cheesecake which was described as bland in one visit.
-
The live music, while enjoyable, can get a tad too loud at times, making it tricky to chat over a meal.
-
It's on the pricey side, so it might not be the best pick if you're watching your wallet on a night out.

Had a lovely three-course meal at BeachHouse Blackpool. Starters were great — we had the tomato dish and chicken tenders, both really tasty. For mains, the fillet steak and salmon were cooked perfectly and full of flavour.
Desserts were a bit mixed — the Basque cheesecake was a little bland, but the summer mess was light and refreshing.
Service was a bit slow, and one of my beers came in a dirty glass, which let things down slightly. But overall, a very good experience and would definitely return.
Really beautiful bar/restaurant- seperate dining/bar area woth stunning sea views. Food was so tasty and reasonably priced. Book online in advance too. Live music when we went which was nice but a bit too loud when having a meal. Nice outdoor seating area too
stunning sea side view. I often order Truffle parmesan fries cos its so good. Pizza, calamari are also good ones to try. Once I tried their piñacolada, very creamy, i love it!
A truly lovely evening at the beach house! Excellent location with outstanding views. Food was beautiful and staff were very attentive. A special thanks to Harriet who looked after us for the evening. We will defiantly be back on our next visit to Blackpool. Sara & Craig
