About This Pub

Ah, The Miners Arms in Morley, Leeds – it's one of those places that just has that inviting charm, you know? From what I've gathered from folks who've been, the staff really go the extra mile with their warm welcomes and excellent service, making it feel like a proper local spot for a pint or a bite. It's conveniently tucked near Elland Road and the town centre, so it's ideal if you're heading to a match or some shopping and fancy a break. They've got a clean, traditional feel with decent food and rooms if you need to crash for the night. On the downside, if you're hoping for a quiet evening, the music tends to run late until around 11:30, which could keep things lively a bit longer than you'd like. And that trek up the hill from the station might leave you a tad out of breath, especially on a rainy day. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good laugh with mates, but worth keeping those little niggles in mind for the full picture.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and provide top-notch service, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's got a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a relaxing drink or catching up with friends.
  • The location is spot on, being close to Elland Road, the shopping centre, and Leeds town centre, which makes it super convenient for a day out.
  • Everything feels clean and charming, with good options for food and even accommodation if you're staying over.
Cons
  • The music can carry on until about 11:30 pm, which might disrupt your plans for an early night if you're after some peace and quiet.
  • Getting there involves a bit of a climb up hills and steps from the train station, so it could be a hassle if you're not up for the walk.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the August Bank holiday weekend. We had breakfast included. The staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient stay for us visiting family. The music ended around 11.30pm, so if your looking for an early night's sleep this isn't the place for you. The rooms could do with a refurb, the beds were old and not so comfy. It was cold in the room, and hardly any hot water from the taps.

Lovely pub very friendly people the only bug bare I have is the walk up the hill and the steps from the train station luckily the pub is at the top of the steps but then you got to walk up another hill to reach the town centre but it is a lovely town centre but yeh miners arms very nice pub

Great, lively and friendly pub with good food and accommodation as well. Not personal stayed there but friends have and been well pleased. I only live 5 minutes walk away so use it fairly regularly and visiting friends stay there.
