About This Pub
Ah, The Picture House – it's one of those classic Wetherspoon spots that you can always rely on for a no-fuss night out in Leeds. I have to say, the food really hits the mark; think fresh, hot meals like burrito bowls or curries that don't break the bank, and it's brilliant value if you're keeping an eye on your wallet or even your diet, like with those Slimming World options that let you enjoy a proper feed without the guilt. The roof terrace is a real gem when the weather's on your side, creating that relaxed, sunny atmosphere that's just perfect for catching up with mates over a pint. But, let's be honest, it's not all smooth sailing – I've heard tales of dodgy seating that could give you a nasty surprise, and there are times when the service drags, like food lingering on the counter instead of making it to your table, with staff not always stepping up to fix it. Still, with an overall rating pushing 4.1, it's clear most folks have a good time, so if you're after a casual, inexpensive pub crawl, I'd say give it a go, just keep things in perspective and maybe check the seats first!

Recent Reviews
Food basic pub food but very reasonably priced and good quality, we used the Wetherspoon app and the service was excellent, got a great seating area on the roof terrace, great atmosphere lovely sunshine, great night.
I do not often write a review but feel that I need to today. I went for lunch with my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter sat on a seat in one of the booths and the seat came apart. Luckily she did not hurt herself but was crying due to the shock. She is only 4, I feel that the whole of the pub needs some money spent on it to renew things. I did speak with one of the managers and she filled in an accident form. I'm afraid I will not be going again for awhile
As a Slimming World member & consultant the Freedom Breakfast fits in well with being able to eat out and socialise and still lose weight as well within my daily syn allowance
a great amount of food and great value for money
We ordered pizzas and watched them in the countertops waiting to be delivered. After over 5 minutes I collected them myself, I asked why they’d not come to our table. I don’t know was the reply. I asked a member of staff who was the duty manager?? I am one of them he said , so I told him of our situation. I also mentioned I’d seen him and a colleague on their phones at the food station. He told me he didn’t like my attitude and walked off . Customer service is obviously NOT a priority in here 😳
Fast and prompt service even though it was full when we got there. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We ordered (on the picture) the burrito bowl, chicken curry with coconut rice, haloumi cheese, brianni and samosa. We also had desserts but didn't take a photo. Apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and brownie with ice cream. They were also very delicious.
It was busy and noisy atmosphere but everyone was keeping to themselves, no unnecessary shouting or screaming.
The only issue I had was with the toilets. The floor of one stall was really dirty. I am hoping they got to clean up at more quiet time.
