About This Pub
Ah, Tipsy Cow – it's one of those pubs in Leeds that really stands out for its grub, isn't it? From the reviews, it sounds like they've nailed the food side of things; people are going on about the pit boss burgers, birria tacos, and chicken wings that are apparently the best they've ever had, all made with fresh ingredients and bags of flavour. With a solid 4.3 rating overall and every recent review giving it top marks, you'd be hard-pressed not to have a good time if you're popping in for a bite. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect – the place only opens four days a week, and the schedules seem a tad confusing, so you might end up disappointed if you turn up on a closed day. Plus, one person had a moan about the music being way too loud for what was otherwise a quiet evening, and there was that funny story about a flooded cellar during heavy rain, which could mean it's not the most reliable spot when the weather turns. Still, if you're in the mood for some top-notch nosh and don't mind checking the times first, I'd say it's well worth a visit for a relaxed catch-up with mates.

From what I've heard, the atmosphere can be lively, and it's a great spot for enjoying a proper meal with friends in Morley.
Cons
-
The opening hours are a bit hit and miss, only operating four days a week with some conflicting times listed, so you might need to plan ahead.

One review mentioned the music being cranked up to club levels even when it's not busy, which could spoil the vibe if you're after a relaxed pint.
-
There was a mention of a flooded cellar during bad weather, suggesting there might be some maintenance issues that could affect your visit.

Absolutely incredible food served here. I got the pit boss , birria tacos and masala fries and I’ve got to say the smoked meat was so flavourful the tacos were LOADED and I’ve never had such good curry sauce on chips. I will be eating here again.
I had the chicken wings they wear the best wings I’ve ever had will be coming back again
Food was absolutely amazing, proper real burgers, fresh ingredients bloody banging
Ah…! Those times you go to a bar and it’s empty…! However, that could be because the heavens opened and a biblical rainfall flooded the cellar…! IS THE TEQUILA SAFE? Yelled us!!! The reply from the man hauling a bucket full of rainwater out of the cellar was something like ‘nnf’ and ‘yarf’. So we decided to stay! A few Cosmos later, and the rain has stopped. But we’re still holding out for an apocalypse because we have no kitchen and therefore, no way of cooking food. As long as it stays raining, there’s always the possibility of the guy in the corner being the first to be eaten…! 😆 Thanks Tipsy Cow! We’ve loved our time here getting drunk!! 😆 Definitely a banging End of Days playlist too!! 🤣
Walked in, great decoration. Husband and I ordered a bottle of prossecco to enjoy. With 10 people in the music was ranked up to club level. Totally unexpected for the atmosphere in the bar at the time. Read the room.
