About This Pub
Ah, The Millhouse – what a lovely little find in Warrington! I've got to say, it's one of those pubs that really knows how to make you feel at home, with its stylish setup and welcoming vibe. The food is an absolute highlight; think hearty pub classics, juicy burgers, and even some great choices for those going meat-free – it's all done really well, and the breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays is a brilliant start to the day. Plus, it's so accommodating for families and even your furry friends, which makes it ideal for a relaxed get-together. The beer garden is a real treat when the weather's on your side, and they've got a cracking selection of drinks to pair with all that entertainment, like watching live sports or joining in on the Wednesday quiz nights and monthly tribute acts. It's got that community spirit that keeps things lively without being overwhelming. On the flip side, though, service can drag a bit sometimes – one chap mentioned waiting ages for starters even when it wasn't busy, which is a shame as it might put a dampener on things. Still, overall, it's a solid spot for a good night out or a casual meal, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area; just pop in with realistic expectations and you're in for a treat!

It's a Joseph Holt pub located in a reasonable urban area and it's usually quieter during the day.
We've eaten a few times here and it has always been very good pub food.
They have themed activities such as quiz nights (Wednesdays); also bingo with live musical artists to accompany your food experience (best to phone them to find out what activities are taking place and I'd also suggest booking if you're a larger group of 5+).
We will definitely visit again as I like their fish and chips!
Went out for lunch with my partner, 2 kids and mother. Went out around 3 ISH nice and quiet.
Food was decent for the money all-round good experience
Lovely 90th birthday celebration yesterday for 30 people. The staff were amazing, food was delicious especially Sunday lunch. Thoroughly recommend this place. Thanks Again for making it really special
Food was very nice but the service felt lacking, stopped in on a quiet day for some dinner with the mrs and our 2 boys, ordered starters and mains, took 50 minutes for starters to arrive which seemed baffling considering it wasn’t even busy, almost walked out and told the staff not to bother as the kids were getting aggy, just would’ve been nice for staff to come over and apologise for the wait, no apology when food did eventually come either. I’m a huge believer in service and unfortunately on this day it was a huge let down and made the whole experience bad, despite the food being nice.
Good modern Hydes pub serving the breweries range of ales (including a stout). Large flat carpark probably ok to stop the night. Has a darts board. Popular with families. 🎯 🚐 🍻
