About This Pub
Ah, The Mill & Brook – it's one of those pubs that just makes you smile as soon as you walk in. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the owners are dead chatty and really make an effort to connect with everyone, which gives it that genuine community feel. The drinks selection is spot on, with plenty of quality beers and ales that go down a treat, and at prices that won't break the bank. I love how they've got comfy seating and activities like pool and darts to keep things lively, plus that beer garden sounds ideal for a sunny afternoon. It's also brilliantly clean, which is always a plus when you're settling in for the evening. On the flip side, the varying hours, especially on Sundays, might catch you out if you're planning ahead, and being by a busy road could mean a bit of background hum, though it doesn't seem to put people off. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone after a relaxed pint and good company – I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

-
Prices are spot on, like getting a pint for around £4.40, which feels like great value.

It's wonderfully dog-friendly, with cute pups often popping in, adding to the friendly vibe.
Cons
-
The operating hours seem a bit inconsistent, particularly on Sundays, which might leave you scratching your head about when it's open.

No website means it's trickier to check out menus or events online before you head over.

I really enjoyed this place. The owners were behind the bar and chatting to everyone. Nice beer on the pump and the interior was nice. Pool and darts available and a great looking beer garden.
Friendly pub, visited on a quiet Sunday evening, met two nice dogs and several regulars. Many beers and ciders available, plus whiskies as well as some food options. Although next to a main road the car noise wasn't distracting. Toilets are clean and looked after.
One of the best places locally to get a good pint of ale! Amongst other drinks of course.
The interior is nice and warm. Super comfy seats. It's a bonus that a lot of cute dogs come in too! (:
Super cherry stout. Nice pint, quiet and you can pick up your Chinese afterwards! Seems a good spot and £4.4 a pint is good value.
